Bergen called today to say they have got a pitch for the 21.10. GAME ON... the kick off will be at kl14.00. They have told us they will be able to arrange accomodation at a school if we need it. I have a list of who has said they are comming. See the team List here

This is the lastest from the discussions about the final.
ECB cannot put up a full team for the 14th of october, We have been told Bergen cannot put up a full strenght team for the 21st, the weekend of the 28th the national team is playing, and the weekend of the 4th of November there is a national seven's training camp from which several ECB players will attend. This leaves the 11th of November as the next alternative. We have been told it is more than likely that bergen will not be allowed by Bergen Kommune to use a pitch this late in the season. We have reserved a pitch in Tønsberg(weather permitting) the 11th of Nov. and we may be able to play the match on this date if bergen are prepared to travel over to us. The only other alternative is to play the game at the start of next season(most likely in bergen as they still have the right to a home match), but this is dependent on NRF\AER-FIRA saying it is ok for the NM to be decided so late as the winner of the fiffteens final will be playing in the European club championship next year. We are still trying to find a solution...

Training with Ås on Wednesday the 11.10.
Training at Ås this Wednesday at kl1800, Ås has a floodlight pitch. Ås will come to us the following week. Neil will be driving to Ås and has space for 4 more. Meet at kl1645 in Tønsberg to get the kl1715 ferry to Moss.

NM FINAL 15'S 2006.
First things first the NM final in fifteens, This the result of the meeting TRK had yesterday the 05.10. The players of TRK have decided the due to the all the confusion surrrounding the location of the final, that our only option at this late stage is firstly to ask Ås Rugby if they are prepared to play the final in Bergen at latter date. IF Ås is willing to agree to play on a different date then we will ask to NRF\Bergen to postpone the game for 1-3 weeks. Hopefully by then we will be able to gather our strongest team possible to challege for our first ever fifteens title.

The second peice of business was to elect a new Committee. Roger has decided to take a break for running the entire club on his own! so our only option was to elect a new committee as none of us had the urge to run it by ourselves:-). click here to see the outcome...
