Bergen 3 OSLO 5

Oslo Beat Bergen 5-3 in the NMs Rugby 15s Final In Bergen on the 4th Oct. As usual the match between
Bergen and Oslo turned out to be a close run event,
with Oslo holding on to a try for victory, and remaining Norges Mester in 15
mans rugby.

A good game for Oslo who beat BSI, Bergen’s second team, 44-5 in Bergen this
weekend, with 15 in the squad.

Oslo lose to Bergen 5-12

In a hard fought game Oslo were unlucky not to have had a better result against a well-drilled Bergen team. Oslo were punished for offside by the boot of Tommy Vasnes but managed a late consolation try at the end of the match.

Nowegian Ladies Came 3rd in Amsterdam

The Norwegian ladies, of which there are a number of Oslo girls, travelled over to Amsterdam to play in the European Cup. They lost against Germany, but beat Denmark 16-14 in a penalty shoot out at the death. Congrats to Mari Ropstad for her two tries and winning penalty kick and the rest of the team for their efforts.

The game started with a rare intensity and a very aggressive New Zealand side. New Zealand kept England in their 22 with a few kicks over the defence.

After only 7 minutes New Zealand created the first occasion to score with a missed penalty kick. Constantly under pressure, England showed difficulty in handling the balls and gave the ball back too often due to stupid mistake.

Oslo Rugby klubb vs Kituro Schaerbeek Rugby Club Oslo Women played one of the few XV games this year against team from Brussels. Belgians weakness was on the wing and Oslo were lacking discipline on rucks and scrums. But it did not stop Oslo from taking the win in Ekeberg.
