BSI vs SRK 17-8

WARM-UP
15 guys from Stavanger made the trip to Bergen. A very disorganised BSI team, with people showing up ten minutes before kick-off, was pleased to see some old BRK faces as Eivind and Frog Eric (in enemy colours).

Newcomer Kjartan (R) nervously wondered what the boys meant by "warm-up".

1st HALF
Many handling errors, offside positions and plays on the ground made the game very chaotic with a too high number of scrums and penalties. BSI was very undisciplined and gave back far too many balls to Stavanger. Dave Ukich punished BSI after 5 minutes with a penalty.

Some minutes later, a good Stavanger scrum scored a try after having pushed back the BSI boys in more than 20 meters. Score was 8-0 after 20 minutes and BSI had been barely dangerous.

However, the last five minutes of the first-half saw BSI scoring three tries but only one was allowed... Scrum on the left side of the pitch on the 5 SRK meters line, good handling from the scrum-half to the wing Kenny Hope and an easy try at the event. Simple but efficient. Score was 8-5 at half time for Stavanger.

2nd HALF
BSI took the lead in the second-half with a try from the rock, Willie Wilson. David Benjamin finished to punish Stavanger with a very opportunist try after a quick penalty. Stavanger was never dangerous in the second-half struggling (against) the good defensive work from all the BSI's players.

SHAME & CREDITS
However, to be fair, BSI would probably have never won the game without the help of many BRK's players. Shame on the BSI's players who can't manage to play the only-home game they have during the first part of the season. Special thanks to Haakon who travelled back from Førde after working late the friday night and to Samir who had only a three hours sleep before the game after hard work during the whole night.
