14 | 04 | 2005 Getting there Public Transport Here is a map of how to get to Stavollen Idrettspark from First Hotel Marin (situated right in the middle of sentrum). But once you are in the centre of town, the directions are basically the same! If people are not driving they can get the 23/20 bus from Olav Kyrres gate (outside Galleriet). Times 09.05 (arriving at 09.45) or leaving bus stasjon perrong 19 at 10.10 the bus will be heading for Birkelandskrysset med overgang til Fana. You will need to change at Lagunen. Ask driver for tickets to Stend jordbruk skole. And ask them to tell you when to get off. Walk down the road past the school until you get to a turning to the right you should then see signs for Stavollen. If you are getting flybuss, you should get off at Lagunen and arrange for someone to pick you up if possible, or maybe get a taxi directly to the field. You have to meet at the Blue Stone (outside the old English Pub) at 09.20 where cars will be there to take players out to the pitch. Please don't be late! Tournament The schedule is still being finalised but you must arrive at the pitch no later than 10.00 so we can get as many matches started as early as possible. Remember, the earlier you arrive the more games everyone can play. |
