Training Camp for Norwegian Women's 7s team

All Norwegian women rugby players (over 18) are invited to attend a training camp as part of the selection for the women's senior 7s side.

The training camp will be partly a developmental exercise where players will learn more about 7s-style rugby as well as developing their individual skills. It will also be a guide to selecting the final squad that will attend the Tunisian 7s tournament in March next year. It is planned to pick roughly 15 players who will form a squad that will represent Norway in a number of 7s tournaments throughout Europe in 2005.

The camp will be held in Bergen on the weekend of December 11 and 12 and will begin at 10am on the Saturday morning. The camp will be finished by 3pm on Sunday at the latest.

Those interested must send an email to esplin_hamish@yahoo.com confirming their attendance. The costs will be shared, as usual, amongst all attendees. However, there will be a 1000kr limit to individual travel costs so any amount spent above that level will not be included in the final budget. I suggest you get organised very soon to get cheaper tickets and not leave it until the last week or so.

A second - and invitational - training camp will be held early next year.
